Principle

Coriolis flow meters use a pair of vibrating tubes through which the process fluid flows. The natural frequency of the tubes is altered by the mass flow of the fluid, causing a measurable phase shift. This shift is directly proportional to the mass flow rate. In addition, Coriolis meters can also measure fluid density, enabling precise calculations of volumetric flow and other properties.
